This women only 7 days 6 night journey along the Amalfi Coast is designed for travelers who want iconic beauty paired with depth, comfort, and authenticity. Late Spring and September are the best times to experience this region, with warm days, lush landscapes, and vibrant coastal towns before and after peak summer crowds. The first week in June and mid September enjoy the same mild temperatures, with plenty of sunshine. See weather details below.

Based in Sorrento, at the carefully selected 4★ Hotel Cristina, we enjoy an ideal location that allows us to explore Capri, Pompeii, Positano, Ravello, Amalfi, and the scenic Amalfi Coast . Perched atop a scenic hillside viewpoint, offering twin rooms with sea view. Perched above Sorrento, the hotel’s elevated location provides sweeping panoramic views over the Bay of Naples, visible from every area of the property, while offering a peaceful setting away from the congestion of the historic center and easy access to town thanks to the complimentary shuttle service.

Hi, My name is Alessandra Scotti, I personally host each journey as an Italian born woman deeply in love with her country, now living in the United States and bridging both worlds. I oversee every detail and keep our groups intentionally small so that what we share is not just an itinerary, but genuine connection among women who have given much and are now ready to receive.

Each experience is thoughtfully organized and responsibly priced, with professionalism and care. The greatest return I receive is seeing your faces as you experience the beauty of Italy through my eyes.

ITINERARY

Day 1 – Arrival in Naples and Transfer to Sorrento

Day 1 begins with group pickup at Naples airport or train station, followed by a private transfer to Sorrento and check in at the carefully selected 4★ Hotel Cristina. After settling into our ocean view rooms, there is time to relax by the pool, unwind, and take in the sweeping panoramic views over the Bay of Naples. The hotel’s complimentary shuttle makes it easy to explore Sorrento’s historic center if you wish. In the evening, we gather for our welcome group dinner, the perfect way to begin our journey together.

Included Meal: Welcome dinner (excluding drinks).

Day 2 – Enogastronomic Day in a Farm

After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, the morning is yours to explore Sorrento at your own pace or relax by the pool. For those who wish, massages can be arranged on site at an additional cost.

We then gather late morning for pickup and head into the Sorrento countryside to Fattoria Terranova.

This is a farm visit, wine tasting, limoncello demonstration, hands on cooking class, and panoramic farm to table meal all in one unforgettable afternoon.

Once arrived at the Fattoria Terranova, where we walk through lemon groves and gardens, harvest seasonal ingredients, and cook together in a traditional farmhouse kitchen. We learn about local wines and limoncello, then gather on a sea view terrace to enjoy the dishes we prepared, paired with wine and homemade liqueurs.

We return to Sorrento in the late afternoon for a beautiful evening stroll, gelato or just another stop at our panoramic pool

Day 3 – Capri The Iconic Island Experience

After an early breakfast, we transfer to the port where we meet our professional local guide Manuela, Together we will board the 30 minutes ferry ride to Capri. Upon arrival, we begin a full day guided exploration of this legendary island, discovering its dramatic cliffs, elegant atmosphere, and timeless Mediterranean charm.

We travel across the island to Marina Grande, Capri, and Anacapri, enjoying sweeping views and learning the stories behind one of Italy’s most celebrated destinations. Our guided visit includes entrance to Villa San Michele, where history, art, and breathtaking panoramas come together above the sea.

There is time to explore, take in the views, and enjoy shopping at your own pace. For those who wish, an optional scenic boat ride around the island with a stop at the Blue Grotto is available, weather permitting, at an additional cost of EUR 20-30 pp

In the late afternoon, we return to Sorrento by ferry and enjoy a relaxed evening at leisure.

Day 4 – Positano by Sea

After breakfast at the hotel, we head to the marina for our round trip ferry transfer to Positano, led by Alessandra. Traveling by sea allows us to experience the Amalfi Coast the way it was meant to be seen — colorful cliffside homes rising from the water, dramatic rock formations, and the endless blue stretching beyond. Boat transfer tickets are included.

Upon arrival, you have free time to explore Positano at your own pace. Wander through its charming boutiques, relax at a seaside café, dip your feet in the Mediterranean, or simply soak in the iconic views that have made this village world famous. In the afternoon, we return to Sorrento by boat and enjoy a relaxed evening at leisure.

The Path of the Gods Hike - 3-4 hour optional experience

This part is completely optional, as Positano itself offers more than enough to fill the day beautifully. However, for for those who desire a more active and breathtaking experience, you may choose to hike the Sentiero degli Dei, the Path of the Gods, one of the most spectacular coastal trails in Europe. This optional excursion is independent and not included in the main program, and I will facilitate the logistics to ensure a smooth experience.

The classic and most scenic route begins with a transfer from Positano to Agerola Bomerano, either by SITA bus or taxi. From Bomerano, the trail stretches approximately 3 to 4 hours downhill walk toward Nocelle, offering extraordinary panoramic views over the Amalfi Coast, Capri, and the open sea. The route is mostly downhill and winds through rocky paths, open ridgelines, and natural terraces suspended above the coastline.

From Nocelle, the final descent into Positano includes approximately 1,500 stone steps. This is considered a moderate hike with uneven terrain and some exposed sections. Proper walking shoes, sufficient water, sun protection, and a reasonable level of fitness are essential.

A private guide may be arranged for those interested, with the cost shared among participants. Zia Lucy comes highly recommended for her local knowledge and experience guiding this trail.

Day 5 – Amalfi Coast Drive, Amalfi and Ravello

After breakfast at the hotel, we meet our professional private driver for a full day chauffeured exploration of the Amalfi Coast. An expert chauffeur is an absolute must on these spectacular winding coastal roads, where dramatic curves and breathtaking cliffs demand both skill and experience.

Our first stop is the iconic town of Amalfi, once a powerful maritime republic. We explore its charming streets with an optional visit of a renowned local limoncello producer to learn more about this beloved regional tradition.

We then continue along the scenic coastline to Ravello, perched high above the sea. Here we can optionally visit Villa Cimbrone and or Villa Rufolo, where manicured gardens and sweeping terraces offer some of the most extraordinary panoramic views in Italy.

Throughout the day, we enjoy a scenic coastal drive with carefully chosen panoramic stops for photos and moments to absorb the beauty of this unique landscape. On our return to Sorrento, we stop at a restaurant overlooking the sea for an early dinner, savoring the flavors of the region immersed in endless blue views.

We then return to Sorrento for a well deserved rest.

Day 6 – Pompeii and Farewell Evening

After breakfast at the hotel, we meet our professional private driver for a comfortable transfer to Pompeii. Upon arrival, we begin a guided visit of the archaeological site with our own licensed private guide Manuela. Walking through the remarkably preserved streets, homes, and temples, we gain a vivid understanding of daily life in ancient Rome. Skip the lines entrance tickets are included, allowing seamless access to this extraordinary UNESCO World Heritage site.

Following the visit, we return to Sorrento, where the afternoon is free for shopping, relaxing, or enjoying the hotel at your own pace.

In the evening, we gather for our farewell group dinner, celebrating the memories, connections, and experiences shared throughout the journey.

Day 7 – Departure Day

Morning group transfer to Naples Airport or the Centra Train station.

Since our tour starts and ends in Naple, you may choose to add a couple of nights in Rome to visit the Eternal City. There are frequent trains connecting Rome and Naples in approximately 1 hour at about EUR 25 to 30.

Request the Rome pre or post tour suggestions package to discover hidden corners, authentic neighborhoods, and experiences most visitors, and often even Romans, never hear about. As a Roman, I share the insight and local knowledge to help you explore far beyond the Colosseum and the Vatican, into the layers of history, food, and everyday life that make Rome truly eternal. After all, Rome is not just a city to see, it is a world to uncover.
